Stanley Mutual Bursary Program - Investing in You!

Stanley Mutual takes care of you. A post secondary education is a proven step in the journey towards life long success. We know it comes at a cost and we want to help you with that cost. Each year, fifteen $500.00 bursaries will be offered. Just fill out an application form available here and you may well be on your way to a Stanley Mutual Bursary. Just another way we look out for you.

General Requirements of Eligibility

Stanley Mutual is providing fifteen Bursaries of $500.00 each, application forms may be found here!

To Be Eligible

  1. The applicant must be a resident of Charlotte, Sunbury, York, Northumberland, or Gloucester County.
  2. The applicant must show proof of acceptance or enrollment as a full time student at a post secondary educational institution, (college or university).
  3. The applicant must complete an application form provided by Stanley Mutual.
  4. The applicant must submit an essay of 150 words on History and Benefits of Mutual Insurance.
  5. The applicant must return the application forms by no later than 4:30pm on May 15th to the office of: Stanley Mutual Insurance Company 32 Irishtown Road Stanley, NB E6B 1B6
  6. Successful applicant(s) must provide a color photo to the Company for publication.
  7. The applicant must not have received any bursary money from Stanley Mutual before (applicants may only receive one bursary from Stanley Mutual).

Selection Process

There will be fifteen bursaries each year, with numbers being pro-rated to premium volume per counties of Charlotte, Sunbury, York, Northumberland and Gloucester. Presently, Charlotte County (1), Sunbury County (1), York County (6), Northumberland County (6) and Gloucester (1).

The applicant must have fully completed an application form, which may be found at www.stanleymutual.com, and submitted it to the office of Stanley Mutual by the required time and date specified above.

Stanley Mutual will notify the successful applicants by June 10th.

Before issuing cheques on November 10th of the same year, the company will require successful applicants to provide proof of registration, or a photocopy of the student card.

Stanley Mutual Insurance Company is a signatory to the Privacy Code and any information provided will be held in the strictest confidence.
